Having begun his career at the BBC and then working in film visual effects, John made the decision to pursue his passion for photography after returning from an extended trip through the Nepalese himalayas and Indonesia.

The majority of John's work centers around people for commissioned editorial, advertising and design agency work. He complements this with personal projects that reflect his love of travel and the people/landscapes he encounters.

John was chosen for Showcase International 2006 in Zurich by jury members including Katy Barker, the Editor of Tank Magazine and the Head of Art Buying at Jung von Matt.

His work is currently being profiled by the Barcelona based Klassik Magazine, an international agency for the promotion of culture.
